Sons of Solomon conducts many charity, community service and public relations projects throughout the year. The most recent events will be updated as they happen.
September 2013 - World Piece Culture Festival
On 14 September 2013, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 conducted a community relations project by visiting the World Piece Culture Festival conducted in Waegwan, South Korea.

On 14 September 2013, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 provided a local Buddhist Temple with various fruits for use in their Chu-Seok (Korean Thanksgiving) ceremonies.

On 14September 2013, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 provided aid to a local farmer in harvesting his pepper crop.
July 2013 - River Cleanup
On 13 July 2013, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 conducted a community service project by collecting 22 bags of trash at the Nack-Dong River Memorial Park.

June 2013 - Onion Harvest
On 8 June 2013, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68, Lion of Judah Military Lodge #94 (Washington Jurisdiction), members of the Waegwan Backup Lions Club (Female Auxiliary) and the Kyung-Buk County Hall President joined forces to provided aid to a local farmer by aiding in his onion harvest. We were able to aid the farmer in harvesting 14,978 pounds of onions.
January 2013 - Heating Coal Delivery
On 12 January 2013, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 purchased and distributed 400 bricks of Yantan (Korean Coal) to the Song-Ro Nok-Gol Welfare Home for Women of Advanced Age to heat the home. The adverage patient living at the home is 85 years, with the oldest being 98 years old.
October 2012 - Camp Carroll Children's Halloween Party
On 20 October 2012, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 provided candy for the Camp Carroll Children's Halloween Party. The Brothers also aided by running a face painting booth.
October 2012 - Rice Harvest
On 20 October 2012, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 provided aid to a local farmer by aiding in his annual rice harvest. We were able to aid the farmer in harvesting 7,347 pounds of rice.
December 2011 - Santa Visitation
On 17 December 2011, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68, with the help of Santa, visited with Mu Ja Won welfare home, which is a home that provides for aboused or widowed women and their children.

August 2011 - Lake Clean-up
On 20 August 2011, Brothers of Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68, Alvin B. Amos Military Lodge #645 and Matthew E. Ellis Jr. Consistory #370 conducted a community service project by collecting and disposing of trash around a local lake.
June 2011 - Roof Repair
On 18 and 19 June 2011, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68, Alvin B. Amos Military Lodge #645 and Matthew E. Ellis Jr. Consistory #370 repaired the roof of a house for a poor elderly couple in the Waegwan community by installing tin to cover all damaged sections of the roof.
May 2011 - Kitchen Construction
On 28 and 29 May 2011, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 and Matthew E. Ellis Jr. Consistory #370 constructed a kitchen for a poor elderly woman in the Waegwan community. The construction consisted of removing cement to create an area for cabinets and a sink, installing cabinets, a sink, a kitchen window and a blower to remove exhaust gases from her coal burning heater.

On 6 November 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 embarked on the
most ambitious community service project in the Lodges history. During the coal
deliveries conducted by Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68, on 23 October 2010,
the members were asked by a 78 year old Korean widow to assist her by placing
linoleum on top of her house to aid in keeping the rain out of the house. The
members of the Lodge voted to assist this elderly woman by replacing the roof of
her house. The project began on 22 January 2011 and was concluded on 23 January
2011 providing a much improved home for this elderly woman.

November 2010 - Thanksgiving Dinner
On 25 November 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 prepared and presented food plates to 26 elderly Korean homes and prepared and served Thanksgiving Dinner to over 160 soldiers and their families as well as local Korean families, consisting of 38 pounds of turkey, two hams and all the trimmings.

September 2010 - Aid to Local Flood Victims
On 10 September 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 teamed up with the Local Lions Club to buy and distribute 1440 pounds of rice to 72 local homes flooded during the typhoon which hit Korea in late August 2010.
July 2010 - Aid for Bone Marrow Transplant
In July 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 made a monitary donation to the family of a soldier who has a child who was undergoing a bone marrow transplant.

In July 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 made a monitary donation to the wife of a soldier who lost her brother in an accident and was traveling back to the United States to attend the funeral.
July 2010 - Community Fish Fry
On 10 July 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 prepared and served fifty pounds of fried catfish, hushpuppies, potato salad, baked beans, hamburgers and hotdogs to the soldiers and families of the Waegwan community.
June 2010 - Aid to Tornado Victim
In June 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 made a monitary donation to assist a local soldier who had lost her house and a family member during the tornados in Mississippi.
May 2010 - Emergency Services BBQ
On 18 May 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 conducted a BBQ for the local Korean Emergency Services Department.
April 2010 - Korean National Wild Bee Park
On 17 April 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 conducted a community service project by conducting a clean-up of the camp grounds of the Korean National Wild Bee Park located in Gasan, South Korea. The Brothers were rewarded with samples of honey and a tour of the bee park, conducted by the bee park staff.
March 2010 - Aid to Dog Bite Victim
In March 2010, Sons of Solomon made a monitary donation to aid in paying the hospital bills for a child who had sustained over 50 bites from three dogs.
March 2010 - Farm Aid
On 20 March 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge aided a local farmer by assisting in preparing his land for cultivation and planting by removing ground covering, removing stumps and triming trees.
February 2010 - Blood Drive
On 23 February 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 participated in the Camp Carroll Community Blood Drive. Every eligiable member of Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 gave blood in support of the blood drive for the soldiers deployed to the middle east.
February 2010 - Aid to Civilian Government Employee
In February 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 made a monitary donation to a local civilian government employee who was moving back to the United States to undergo cancer treatment.
February 2010 - Chili Cook Off
On 13 February 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 prepared and distributed 15 gallons of homemade chili to the soldiers and families of the Waegwan area. This was an opportunity for the soldiers to get a taste of home and the local Korean community to experience a new taste sensation.
January 2010 - Coal Deliveries
On 16 January 2010, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 bought and distributed 500 bricks of Yantan (Korean Coal) to the elderly families of the Waegwan community who use the coal to heat their homes. We also invited the other local Lodges and had a strong showing from Alvin B. Amos Miliraty Lodge #645 of Texas Jurisdiction to help deliver the coal. Members of the Korean Media also showed up for the event.

From 24 November 2009 through 24 December 2009, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 conducted a canned food drive with all proceeds being donated to the Camp Carroll Chaplin's Office for donation to the local orphanage.

On 1 December 2009, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 made a monitary donation to the Daegu American High School to provide prizes for the World Aids Day essay contest.

On 26 November 2009, Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 prepared and presented dinner plates to the elderly families of the Waegwan community.

July 2008 - February 2009 - Mil AL Gung Dong Cha
Sons of Solomon Military Lodge #68 began working with the Mil Al Chung Dong Cha home on 10 July 2008 by visiting the home twice a month and providing any support they required. We were able to donate W1,223,000 to the home in an effort to purchase a new furnace for the home in December 2008. We continued to work with the home on a bimonthly basis until they received government funding in February 2009.

On 3 March 2008 Sons of Solomon began conducting monthly visits to the Daegu Orphanage for a book reading program. This continued through 2 August 2008.

On 22 November 2007, Sons of Solomon prepared and served a free traditional American Thanksgiving Dinner for the soldiers of Camp Carroll.
